My works on paper serve as an exploratory space for mixed-media experiments. To investigate themes of secrecy and forgetting, I build up and rework surfaces until images and materials become difficult to identify. Through this process, I depict a world overwhelmed by information but quickly forgotten or erased. Incorporating imagery from conspiracies, visual perception tests, and leaves historically used to censor art, I seek to examine the elusive boundaries of what we are able and permitted to know. These abstractions become material traces of repressed memories, manufactured consent, and paranoid delusions circulating through the collective unconscious.
